Welcome to the ENEF Learning Platform

The use of energy efficient technologies and products in the construction industry can make a significant contribution to Europe’s economy by creating employment opportunities in areas such as renewable energy, energy efficiency products and services, waste management, recovery and recycling.

The ENEF project aims to equip European construction SMEs with specific competencies, tools and skills so that they are better prepared to optimise potential opportunities in this space. Therefore we have developed innovative learning material, methods and tools to help organisations like yours to reduce emissions; improve comfort; improve air quality; improve construction quality; increase building energy rating and to improve the resale value in European houses.

Below you will find three links:

ENEF 3D simulation tool: The 3D simulation tool is an interactive model that gives you immediate feedback about the efficiency of energy-saving measures in a building. For example, you can see the effect of replacing incandescent lamps with energy-saving lamps on the overall consumption of energy in a building.

ENEF learning materials: Here you will find learning material in seven different languages for your continuous professional development. Different aspects of energy savings in buildings are presented in seven modules. You will find learning material in the area of marketing, facades, glazing, installation and others.

Events: Click on this link to access a calendar of upcoming events relating to energy efficiency in construction.

After studying these learning materials you should be able to understand the benefits of implementing energy efficiency technologies in your company.  We hope that you will get some new insights on how design, develop and deploy energy saving strategies and technologies in your business.
