The LINQ conference 2012 is addressing Learning Innovations and Quality and in particular
Lifelong Learning (LLL), Technology-Enhanced Learning (TEL), quality standards
and certification, human resources development, competences and skills, as well
as learning, innovation and quality management systems.

The conference took place on the 23rd of October 2012 in Brussels, Belgium,
at the Representation of the State of North Rhine Westphalia to the European Union

The coordinator Eurocrea merchant was represented by its general Manager
Mr. Gianluca Coppola who has been a speaker presenting the project EnEf
which has been selected as a best practice.

Renovating the existing EU building stock is a real economic opportunity for Europe.
It is a revenue-generating activity which contributes to urban renewal, strengthens
social cohesion, boosts economic growth by creating local non exportable jobs
(up to 19 jobs created for every €1 million invested), and leads to high public
revenues (up to €5 additional budget revenue for every €1 of public funds invested).

Renovate Europe Day 2012 will explore these wide-ranging benefits that investing
in the energy efficient renovation of the building stock can offer, drawing from
practical experiences at the local, regional and national level, and emphasing the
links with the EU Cohesion Policy and Growth Agenda.

Description 28.06.2012 has been held a workshop which theme is the opportunities offered by the programme Lifelong learning for the improvements of the skills and knowledge of the adult people and SME's. The conference has been hosted in Naples by "Il Denaro" a media and publishing company. During this event has been presented several past or running projects, among these, EnEf. Silvia Farina of Eurocrea Merchant was speaker by a distance videoconference from Milano presenting the project and showing the e-learning platform and simulation tool.

From 25th to 28th of June 2012 has been organized by ANCE (Italian Construction Association) in its premises in Brussels a 3 days training seminar where has been exploited and presented the EU opportunities about the efficiency energy in the building sector. During the 3 days Mr. Gianluca Coppola from Eurocrea Merchant was a speaker presenting technics and methodologies to better write potentially successful EU proposals. During the event was presented the project EnEf and its outputs together with the presentation of the EnEf platform and simulation tool.

At the event Mr. Gianluca Coppola from Eurocrea Merchant has been speaker about the project EnEf and its outputs together with the presentation of the EnEf platform and simulation tool.

Location Rome - Ministry of Economic development - Internationalization Unit

Description Mr. Gianluca Coppola will be lecturer in an intensive training session presenting the main EU financial rule to be applied in the management of EU funds. At this event the project EnEf will be presented, its output and reporting steps as example of the EU rule to be respected.

One of the most important project tasks is to guarantee high visibility to EnEf progresses and results, by implementing a comprehensive plan for valorization, which includes dissemination through internet, publication, press, networking and public events.

The Bulgarian Construction Chamber, Bulgarian Partner, hosted the FIEC’s Congress (the European Construction Industry Federation, www.fiec.eu) and presented the project to 40 Construction Federations and 120 contractors from the Sector. It was also an occasion to distributed EnEf brochure and the first project newsletter.

Direccion de Arquitectura – Hunta Extremadura, the Spanish Partner, gave visibility to EnEf project in a relevant event in Spain: FICON - Iberian Construction industry Saloon, held in Don Benito, Badajoz. (Extremadura) from 23 to 26 March 2011. A series of European projects regarding energy efficiency were presented, among which EnEf.

Moreover, the Regional Ministry for housing placed a big stand in the Saloon to show current projects regarding energy Efficiency and Renewable energies and ENEF was among them.

More than 150 people attended the event, while 350 people visited the stand of the Regional Ministry. Attendees were mostly entrepreneurs of the Construction industry, journalists, local and regional authorities, general public. Taking into account that the public was mainly composed by professionals of the building industry, they showed a high interest on ENEF.

The European Commission has requested that Germany change current rules and practices concerning construction products. Today they impose additional requirements for products covered by European harmonised standards and bearing the CE marking.

On 22 June 2011, a new set of measures for increased Energy Efficiency is proposed by the European Commission to fill the gap and put back the EU on track.

The Commission proposes simple but ambitious measures:

• Legal obligation to establish energy saving schemes in all Member States
• Public sector to lead by example
• Major energy savings for consumers

The new Directiove will boost the European commitment to reach the 20-20-20 goals. EnEf project is giving its contribution to the European Strategy for a sustainable, competitive and secure energy.

Take part in the survey by filling in the questionnaire and by giving your contribution to the development of an effective and comprehensive training plan, based on the real needs of companies and allowing meaningful practical on-the-job learning.
